Born and raised in Jonesboro, Arkansas, Holland spent most of her early life right on the same plot of land where Eastern Livity’s main building is currently under construction! She is happy to return to the South after more than a decade of calling New York City home. Holland earned her full STOTT PILATES® Certification in 2004 as she simultaneously graduated with a degree in Musical Theatre from Missouri State University. Since then, she has been lead further into the field of wellness and in 2011 received her 200 Hour Vinyasa Yoga Certification in NYC. She has been fortunate enough to practice many styles of yoga (Hot, Power, Vinyasas, Hatha, Dynamic Hatha, Anusara, Restorative) with teachers all over the US and draws from her experiences to find what most helps her students deepen their Yoga practice.
In 2013, Holland and Jonathan joined forces and began to live a Zero Waste Lifestyle in St.Thomas, USVI, and continued to carry what they learned with them wherever they traveled or lived. Now they enjoy sharing what they learned with others and they feel that caring for the Earth and living in harmony with nature is at the core of Eastern Livity.
Holland has completed additional training in Pre/Post–Natal Yoga (Prenatal Yoga Center NYC 2013), Meditation (World Yoga Center NYC 2013/14 + Vishoka Meditation Eastern Livity 2025) and 300-hour Advanced Yoga Training (Circle Yoga Shala 2018).
Holland has also been trained in GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® exercise (2015) and is excited to be one of the first to bring these methods to the South!
Most recently, she completed her MELT METHOD® hands and feet training in 2024 and level one foam rolling 2025. She LOVES to teach this method that hydrates and attends to our facial system.
One of her most sacred roles is mommy to her sweet daughter, Luna, and that’s currently how she spends her time outside of EL! She looks forward to spending more time in their organic garden and learning more foraging wild foods. She is a member of the Jonesboro Chamber Green Business Committee and the NEA Master Naturalist organization.
When taking a class or having a private session with Holland, expect a positive and fun interaction that will take you farther down your path of physical, mental and spiritual wellness. Read more on Holland’s Mindfulness blog.
