Thai it Down: Prone and Supine Thai Massage Continuing Education Courses

Thai Massage is a clothed stretching and pressing modality, traditionally practiced on the ground (on a comfortable floor mat), utilizing the therapist’s hands, forearms, elbows, feet, shins, knees, and bottom to compress soft tissue and improve joint Range of Motion.
In these 2 classes*, Thai massage compressions, wedges, stretches, and jostles will be demonstrated and rehearsed in order for therapists to develop their own 30 to 60-minute Prone (April 29) and/or Supine (April 30) Thai Massage Treatment or for integration of Thai Massage into table massage treatments. The courses begin with an introduction to Thai Massage principles, such as history, lineage, and Sen Theory, all of which offer a foundation for the practice and application of Thai Massage techniques.
👕  What to Wear:
Wear comfortable clothing for movement (i.e. t-shirt & sweatpants), as you will be expected to move on the ground from various seated, kneeling, and lunging positions.

1 flat sheet + 1 face cover
1 small head pillow
1 kneeling pillow
Notebook/pen/pencil
$10 fee payable to instructor for comprehensive manual (cash or Venmo accepted)
